Question: How much does this game cost to play?
Micah: Nothing! It's free!
Question: Well, I'd really like to send some money somewhere. Where can I send it?
Micah: A rarely asked question indeed! You can donate money here or here. I've checked both sites and they are legit.
Question: Where did the flying elk dog thing come from?
Micah: My cousin, Steven Arthur, told me he was having trouble finding a name for his band. So I said, "Hey! Why not go with 'the flying elk dogs'?!" He declined my suggestion, so I kept them in this game.
Question: Where is the manual for this game?
Micah: It's built into the game.
Question: Where?
Micah: You could read the whole thing and never know it was the manual.
Question: Is there some way I could learn about how to play this game that just really spells everything out?
Micah: That would take all the confusion out of it. I'm not going to tell you about any easy things like that.
Question: Is this an open source game? If so, where can I find the source code?
Micah: This software game is released under the LGPL (Lesser Gnu Public License) and is free as in free speach and free beer. Although the .png images are free to use and the content is free to use, the image source and the characters belong to me. See the terms.
You can find the source code here. Hopefully it is somewhat uptodate. Post something on the forum if the source isn't very current.
Question: What is your business model?
Micah: My business model works like this: I'm done with grad school and I wanted make a game instead of playing them all the time. And I hope to make zero money with this. I do have a real software job where I make money, though.
Question: Who makes cameo appearances in this game?
Micah: There are several recognizable faces in this game. Several are obscure.
Question: I noticed sometimes I make it to certain levels that I don't see when I play the game other times. How do I control this?
Micah: At the moment there is no way to control this. It's a coin flip.
