SOFTWARE

All software in this package is released under the terms of the Lesser Gnu Public License. This gives the product owner (me) the right to withhold all source code (although I am making it available anyway).

The software may be redistributed within the LGPL terms. In extention to these terms, you may modify the source code and redistribute the modifications as long as you provide direction and guidance to all subsequent users about where they made obtain the original software.

The software source code should be downloadable at every place the Confusion installer is available. At the time of this TERMS OF USE, this is the website http://www.confusionthegame.com/downloads.html. If the source code is not available here, the user should contact the software source code author (Micah Hoover) who will be glad to provide the source code or directions concerning where to find said source code. TERMS OF IMAGE USE

All image related resources, manual related information -including the stories of the characters, the Ace of Spades, Jack, Higgins, etc., are proprietary. The raster (.png) files and text (.txt) files are redistributable free of charge. The image vector source files (.svg) for the images shall not be included at any point, including the scalable vector graphics files, although the software used to create these images is free and can be easily used by the user to create their own cartoon characters (I recommend Inkscape). The actual software package (containing the images and the binary executible) is licensed under the Lesser Gnu Public License. All proprietary resources are independent of the executible and dynamically (run time) linked with the LGPL licensed source code. All source code (.cpp, .h, .pro, .ui) and image data (.png) in the installer may be used free of charge and reproduced without fee and without need for further conset from the author.
